Work Hours & Timesheet Calculator
Add your shifts and breaks. Get clear weekly totals, overtime and estimated pay — ready to download or print.
Your weekly timesheet
One shift per day. Blank days are days off.
End time earlier than start? We automatically count it as an overnight shift.
Pay & overtime (optional)
Use your own rate and overtime agreement.
Overtime starts after your threshold, excluding unpaid breaks. A 1.5× multiplier pays one-and-a-half times your hourly rate.
Gross estimates only; taxes and deductions are excluded. Shifts belong to their start date. This uses clock time and does not adjust for daylight-saving changes.

A few useful answers
How are overnight shifts calculated?
If your end time is earlier than your start, we add a day automatically. For example, 22:00–06:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break is 7h 30m, or 7.50 decimal hours. Check “Next day” explicitly for a 24-hour shift. Shifts longer than 24 hours are not supported.
What is the difference between 7h 30m and 7.50 hours?
They are the same duration. Decimal hours express minutes as a fraction of an hour: 30 ÷ 60 = 0.50. We calculate with whole minutes and round only displayed decimal hours and pay.
How does overtime work?
Choose either daily or weekly overtime. Only paid minutes above your chosen threshold earn the multiplier. The two rules are not combined. For a weekly rule, all seven dates shown form one workweek; overnight shifts count against their start date. Enter the rule that matches your agreement.
Can I save my timesheet without signing up?
Yes. Turn on “Remember this timesheet on this device” to save locally, or download an editable JSON backup and restore it later. Local saving is specific to this browser and device. CSV is for spreadsheet use; use the backup file to restore this calculator.
Can I enter split shifts or daylight-saving changes?
This version supports one shift per date and uses the clock times you enter. It does not account for time zones, daylight-saving changes or payroll-specific rounding. Check those cases against your actual paid hours.
